Round Rock ISD Voters Approve Prop A

Round Rock ISD voters approved Proposition A, adding $19 million to the District’s operating budget. According to unofficial results, the measure passed by 72.3% in Williamson County and 76.7% in Travis County. This will provide the District with funds for an additional 3% salary increase (based on the midpoint) on top of the raises trustees approved earlier this year.

Westwood tennis team earns back-to-back state titles

The Westwood High School Tennis team has cemented its status after earning back-to-back wins at the University Interscholastic League 6A State Championship. This is Westwood’s second straight 6A team championship title and its fourth in the past six years.

Community Access program fosters young adults with disabilities in independent living

Round Rock ISD’s Community Access program provides specialized instruction for graduates between the ages of 18 and 22 who have disabilities. The program’s primary goal is to empower these young adults with the skills necessary to lead independent lives within their communities.
