Parents/guardians, teachers, students, community members, and area business owners are invited to learn how Proposition A can help keep and attract talented teachers and valued student support personnel.

A Girl Called Opal

Performed by Hopewood Middle School Theatre. The lone survivor of a shipwreck is adopted, renamed Opal, and is given to flights of fancy and takes it upon herself to bring happiness to everyone in the town.

HBCU College Fair

Meet admission representatives from local and national historically Black colleges and universities. The event is FREE to attend. All ages are welcome. High school students will get the most out of the event.
